Acrodermatitis, also known as Gianotti-Crosti syndrome, is a common skin disorder that primarily affects children aged three months to 15 years. The disease's full name is "papular acrodermatitis of children." Acrodermatitis is characterized by the formation of itchy red or purple blisters on the body. Children may also experience bloating, fever, and swollen, painful lymph nodes. Although acrodermatitis is not communicable itself, the viruses that cause it are.

Symptoms of Acrodermatitis

A few indications and symptoms of acrodermatitis may be:

  • Red spots on arms, thighs, and buttocks
