Whiplash is a relatively common injury that occurs to a person's neck region and cause sudden unrestrained, rapid to and fro movement of the head and neck. It happens mostly in the result of a dangerous motor vehicle accidents but it also happens in the athletes and sportsmen. Major associated symptoms with this injury are;

• neck pain and stiffness,
• headache,
• shoulder pain and stiffness,
• dizziness,
• fatigue
• jaw, arm and back pain
• arm weakness
• visual disturbances
• ringing in the ears
