He remained ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Dermatology Dow Medical College Karachi, from 1990 till 2003 before he left to Dallas USA. Dr. Rafiq Tareen remained the Head of the Department for 3 years. Dr. Rafiq Tareen mentored 40 dermatologists during his teaching tenure.

Cryotherapy is used for skin tags, warts on body, palmer & planter warts, keloids, any benign growth, moles, & the best way of treating BCC skin cancer Basal Cell Carcinoma, moles suspected for melanoma.
