Asking for Mother, Female, 56 years old, Karachi

My mother is healthy active 56 years old. Recently we have done her echo for pre-operative work up for her disc herniation surgery which shows grade 1 left ventricular dysfunction. Is this something to get worried about?

No symptoms at all. She’a diabetic but her sugar levels are always within normal range.
And she’s not hypertensive either.

I am writing on 17.May.2019, Before 3 Years my wife got problem to take a breath and one day there was too much shortness of breath and she was like dying and could not take breath but hardly and we took her to Agha Khan Hospital they did some tests and all cleared report, but later again she had same issue, but nowadays she is pregnant ( 7 Months ) and now continuously she has breath taking problem and too much shortness of breath and specially when she tries to sleep and lie down her Heart Beat get faster than normal and she feels suffocating. I am going through tough time just because of this. Plz someone advise me what to do and which Dr should it take her to ? She is 39 Years and we are having 3 children.
