Asking for Other, Female, 58 years old, Hyderabad
ECG is abnormal. Please let me know symptoms and risk factors.
There are some changes which can be normal in females but do need further tests if you have any chest pain these are relevant

There’s no chest pain. ECG was only done because she was losing body salt due to diarrhea.

Just make sure her electrolytes were normal as diarrhoea can cause changes in potassium and sodium etc
Otherwise in the absence of chest pain or risk factors the ECG may be taken as within normal limits

what is the potassium level in blood ? Electrolytes report done ?
ECG Changes in low potassium are more generalised. However good to have electrolytes checked in the face of diarrhoea. In younger age one can ignore these changes but for 58 years lady this is an opportunity to do her cardiac work up. Do an echo check renal function, fasting sugar and fasting lipids. To decide on stress test later.
Kindly tell me symptoms? what was happening to you when you got an ecg
normal
Ecg is not normal. Showing abnormality. Please can you mention about your symptoms or what you are feeling . Regards
Although these changes are non specific I would recommend Dobutamine Stress Echo to rule out the possibility of heart disease which is quite common in this age
ECG has defect in Chest leads showing IHD.
These changes are normal in females.
but the patients who have had hypertension & Diabetes for 10 yrs and have these changes in ECG must have an ETT or thallium scan.
ECG is obviously not normal... it needs further workup.

She had diarrhea after eating watermelon. She suffers from hypertension and bp increases at times, 170 to 100. Her ECG has previously shown missing heartbeats.

Mild ecg changes may be due to electrolytes abnormalities b/o ch diarrhea if changes r fresh Trop t may be done to rule out NSTEMI ,rarely atypical presentation in post menopause women.
