My grandmother is 86 years old.three days back she felt pressure on heart which was relived by taking 2 tablets of nitroglycerin then yesterday she again felt that condition applied heart patch and got relief but now her condition is that when she even moved out of her room she felt pain and severe weaknessWe have booked her appointment at tabba heart for tomorrow with doctor adeel SiddiquiBut I don't think so that she is stable enough to go to doctor considering the fact that she has to move through almost 13 to 14 stairs as wellShe also had cough and asthma issue last days for which family doctor gave ventolin syrup to her. We stopped giving it.she had a history of heart disease.recieved electric shocks 23 years before. Angioplasty was also done. She is a diabetic and hypertensive patient as well

Thanks for sharing ur concern. More history is needed and evaluation of ur problem. You may book an online video consultation to discuss it and then give him treatment. Most likely she has cough and SOB due to heart , not due to asthma. Does she have swelling in her feet and around eyes ?
If the patient is having frequent anginal episodes, that calls for an Angiography. Given that she is a diabetic and has history of Angioplasty, there might be in Stent restenosis or new disease as well..
The drugs can be topped up, but for that we need to know her current medication. Also she needs to have fresh echo and labs such as blood CP and renal functions. Also if this was asthma or a chest infection, some drugs need to be stopped. Ventolin can worsen her angina. She needs a detailed workup and not deferring tomorrow's appointment would be a better decision!
This post Pci case of worsening angina needs coronary angiography after BLI ,ECG and echo. Intensify antiangina treatment. Stop ventolin replace with iptatopium and steroid. Your doctor at tabba will will give final opinion regarding angio/ PCI after work up.
Need her more symptoms and history to treat her problems so take online video consultation with me and inshaAllah she will be better day by day
