I m married since 7 months want to conceive I have severe palpitations issue my heart rate go to 170 per minute sometimes I m currently taking concor 2.5mg us sy control rehta h heart rate but my dctr said pregnancy ma koi b beta blocker safe ni hota r tablet ma chor ni sakti plz koi dctr bta sakta h koi aysi medcn h Jis sy heart rate b control rahy r bachy py b asar na ho koi...plxxxx I m much much worried my mitral valve prolapse with mild MR in my echo
you can take merol 25mg TDs it's safe instead of Concor

Mitral valve prolapse with mild MR does not affect pregnancy but you should have regular visits to a cardiologist after conception.Your fast heart beat needs to be review and should be evaluated.After complete review by a cardiologist by having clinic visit,you may plan for pregnancy and if there is need for beta blocker,u may continue pregnancy with it and there are also other medicines u may use during pregnancy so dont worry about it.If you tell your city name then i may be able to tell you concerned cardiologist to visit his/her clinic.Regards

Yes I know MV prolapse doesn't affect pregnancy but it affects the heart bcz in pregnancy heart py pressure barh jata h then koi issue na ho jaye heart ka mazeed na barh jaye ye pochna chah ri ti ma

Mitral valve prolapse with mild MR in pregnancy does not affect heart generally and pregnancy completes normal practically so dont worry.Plan to have regular visits during pregnancy with cardiologist.Please visit PIC for consultation.Regards
