My Mother is a heart patient.she is suffering in volve issue and have a clotting.she is taking warfrin .so she face sleeping issue and pain in legs.so what shoud i do..i am so worried.
osteoporosis is a side effect of warfarin.
so continue warfarin and have consultation with cardiac physician for management

Thankyou for consultation.As per saying she has heart problem so i need list of medicines she is taking.Also there are lots of reason for leg pain,immediate action is necessary in view of her clotting issue if she has already as you mentioned.If she has clotting problem and she is taking medicines for it then ultrasound doppler of legs is needed.Please provide information about medicines and any swelling redness numbness in legs if she has. Ok.is she taking warfarin tablet?
I suggest to have doppler ultrasound of both legs for any clot? If there is no clot then no need to worry for leg pains.It will be subside by any painkiller or may need Vitamin D supplements.First you have to rule out any clot in legs by ultrasound doppler which may be dangerous.Regards
And please check PT INR blood test if not checked in last 2 weeks
