Please consult a good urologist
Thankyou
if he was catheterised just because of surgery without any prior urological condition then it can be considered as medical negligence I'm afraid. Now start catheter clamping n bladder exercises before taking it out. If any concern then need to consult urologist straight away.
As far as walking is concerned, he should he walking right from next day of surgery. Continue with physiotherapy n full weight bearing exercises. If there is unbearable pain in hip then go n see the operating surgeon for follow up.
