My fourth metacarpal bone is fractured 3 weeks ago and it is latest x ray but there is tinny sharp edge is not join with bone. is it healed after 2 to 3 weeks or I have to surgery
it will heal INSHALLAH dont worry .. sharp edge u feel will remodel INSHALLAH..
It will heal in time , you don’t need to go for surgery. End to end bony healing is only possible with surgery. In plasters end to end healing is not required, we only see the general alignment. Be patient.
U have to have 2 views of X-ray done before a final decision can be made. An AP view of the hand and an oblique view. Based on that I can advise whether non operative management can be used or you will need surgery. Early fracture healing may sometimes be visible by end of the 4th week of injury
yes it wil heal dnt worry
Yes there is a fracture which is acceptable in AP view but lateral view is not available. Ideally it should be fixed with mini plate to allow early movements of MCPJ. Right now have to wait for couple of more weeks for fracture healing.
is tip of your finger in neutral position? if it is rotated then surgery is required.
so you should have a check up in clinic by an orthopedic surgeon.

You have an oblique fracture of index metacarpal. You need to attend my clinic to examine your hand and advise you the appropriate treatment to get it healing
No need for surgery it will heal in 6 to 8 weeks , apply collar slab for 6 weeks
Position is perfect will take minimum three weeks more
Don’t you worry about it- it will heal without any problem .just start using your hand normally but don’t do any heavy work. Start making fist at 3/weeks. It will take total 6 weeks
At least six weeks
Reduction angles are acceptable.. conserve it
3 wks have passed. Don’t worry about fracture. Just take care of your finger’s joints to get full Range of motion, shouldn’t b any stiffness.
dont worry this kind of fracture heals easily.so no need of surgery.yu should start physiotherapy now
