Talk to Dentist on Abscess Since Few Days
Asking For Other, Male 7, lahore
my 7 years daughter has few cavities in her teeth., but right above this abscess we have performed filling procedure 2 days ago. question is that how many days this abscess it will take to cure because its been i think 10 days now, and is it serious matter or not?

There is no limit of self resolving such things... We have to remove the cause first. If tooth is not properly cleaned or roots or carious as well it will not resolve

if the filling was done after pulpectomy/rct, the abscess should disappear, otherwise it may persist and may flare up any time. I wish the dentist would have drained and curretted the abscess there are then.

Aoa. Was xray done before filling? It looks that proper disinfection or Root Canal Treatment is needed. But xray is important for further treatment as this abscess will not be resolved by itself. Antibiotics usually do not work in such cases unless filling is removed and proper disinfection is attained.
aoa its means that this tooth need pulpectomy. or in easy words root canal. u should go to the dentist
