I had my tooth extraction 6 days ago after which i was prescribed cefodox antibiotic. Just 2 more doses are left and I started to have diarrhea and vomiting since today. I haven’t eaten any meal since afternoon and had just taken ors . My question is can I skip the antibiotic dose for today as I’m having diarrhea and haven’t eaten anything for long. And when can i take the 2 doses left? and is it ok to take a dose after eating only a banana and not full meal?

if you have taken antibiotics for 4 days then you can discontinue it. usually after extraction antibiotic shouldnt been given unless there was severe swelling.
If there is no toothache you can discontinue antibiotics.
5 days are enough for the medicines. If there are no symptoms of tooth ache u can discontinue anti biotic
