Okay so I have gap in my teeth attaching pic below. I wanna go for an option rather than braces cuz they are extremely expensive. Visited a dentist ( not surgeon) he suggested getting retainers cuz gap is minimal

yes braces are expensive option but Orthodontic treatment(braces) is proper treatment for your problem it can take long time but uska effect results are best .

You can get Aligners but after examination
yes you can use retainers, its a very good non invasive option. you can also get crowns on the front teeth.

Dear as from pic your jaw relation is incorrect not just gap . You must see another Orthdontist to give you the right diagnosis n treatment is not very expensive at my clinic but you can opt for hospital based treatment
i think u can go for retainers for 6months, and then assess better if u see a visible change in ur smile then u can continue with it. other options that u have are of composite filling and veneers.
