AOA my wife is pregnant since 4 months facing pain problem in teeth. she use Amoxil with Panadol but pain goes for temporary. Someone ask me to use Enziclor mouth wash. is it safe during pregnancy or any suggestion for treatment?
Medicine is a temporary solution…please take her to a qualified dentist for treatment
Getting examination and proper diagnosis is important. Kindly book an appointment and get her checked.
yes you can use enziclor for gargles, but better yet get her treated. medication is only a temporary solution
Long term medication can be very harmful so please go for the treatment and treat the cause whatever the problem is 2nd trimester has started which is the safe period for the dental emergency treatment you can consult a good dentist who knows how to treat a pregnant lady please take all the precautions and protocols while the procedure is performed
Yes can use mouthwash
yes she can use mouthwash only for gurgles and can take panadol as it is only safe drug , otherwise don't take any antibiotics or medicines without doctor's consultation as it can have effects on baby.
Mouth Wash is not the solution, better to go for treatment
mouth wash is safe but it won't suppress pain, better to visit dentist as emergency treatment can be done during pregnancy.
Treatment of the cause is required as medications in this case is a temporary solution. 2nd trimester is safe for most of the procedures.

Usually 2nd trimester is considered safe to go fr any dental treatment but still ...she should maintain a healthy oral hygiene, rinsing with mouthwash is completely safe beside that she can also take salt water rinse twice or thrice daily regular brushing and flossing is necessary tell her to avoid carbonated drinks avoid spicy food and drinks and food which increases sensitivity...also visit a nearby dentist in case of severe pain as 2nd trimester is safe for dental procedures. Her dentist can guide her and provide her better solution with proper treatment and medications ....jazakaAllah :)
