Talk to Dentist on Swelling In Gums
Asking For Self, Female 44, Karachi
I am facing problem of swelling in gums. I can't eat meat and whenever I do my gums get swelled and feel irritation in my gums and teeth even it is difficult for me to chew meat and roti. Kindly advise what is the treatment
Swollen gums are most commonly caused by gum and associated bone disease known as (gingivitis & periodontitis) , get your self checked by a nearby qualified dentist , he may perform clinical examination to see any plague or caculus accumulated or any local gum defect known as pockets , order radiograph to see bone loss . And will guide you accordingly. He may perform deep scaling as well, with some oral hygiene instructions and medications.

There are several reasons
cavity in the tooth, gingivitis
you might need an xray
theses are signs of infection which have multiple reasons so kindly visit a good dentist
Without an examination it's impossible to jump to a diagnosis. but the likely case can be due to (gingivitis and periodontitis) meaning there may be accumulation of calculus and plague in your gums and when you chew it causes irritation and pain gets triggered.
routine check up must every 6 moths .now u may consult any professional dentist

from how much time it is happening?

Does the swelling reaches or extends towards eye region. Also you must start Tab. augmentin 625mg twice a day for 3 days. Further you might need deep scaling or deep curettage for gum inflammation. If the tooth is involved then you might need root canal. Feel free to visit us.
