Talk to Dentist on Tartar Buildup And Gum Bleed

I have tartar buildup on my teeth. its not too much but its there since forever. i never got it cleaned in my life. My gums bleed due to that and 1 or 2 gums that have more tartar bleed easily. I am worried if this can increase oral cancer or gum cancer risk or can it increase risk of cancer at the site where there is tartar buildup and it bleeds frequently? Please tell If i am just ovrrthinking. Any oral surgeon help is needed

It has nothing to do with cancer. You just need deep scaling and polishing. The long term problem of not resolving will be, your tooth becoming loose and gap coming in between n eventually they will come out before time. So get scaling and polishing.
