tgis condition is called attrition. she needs a night guard to protect her teeth from attrition.
First of all, deworm her, single dose of Vermox will be okay, can be repeated after three months. take her to some experienced qualified dental surgeon to look into her oral problems and provide her the necessary treatment
consult with your nearest dentist and use nightgaurd
This problem must be related to her muscles. We need to find the cause and give her a night guard. It could be due to stress too. But night guard is important for her so that her teeth dont get any further damage, which may lead to loss of teeth. Just filling would only temporarily help her.
She might be suffering from anxiety or stress bcz of which she is grinding her teeth or maybe bcz of teeth alignment.
it's better to take her to a dentist for a detailed check-up x-ray, fillings if needed and Protective mouth/teeth Cover. (night guard)and consult a Neurophysician as well to treat any underlying mental issue.
the root cause of the issue your sister is facing is stress and poor sleeping cycles. when are body is in a stressful state we tend to contract our muscles. this happens to our jaw muscles too. the whole night our jaw muscles are tightened which causes our teeth to come in contact with each other and grind all night which causes injury to our teeth and our muscles to hurt as well. I recommend a night guard, also visit your dentist so that they can prescribe you a mild muscle relaxant.
Anxiety is the cause, get her night guards for her teeth.
Habit breaking devices is the solution such as night guards
A detailed history will be taken to determine the cause of night grinding. Kindly take her to a dentist for night guards
