Talk to Dentist on Teeth Whitening Procedure

AoA, I did some research on teeth whitening procedures and I got to know that the most effective one is the in-office bleaching treatment with bluish light. (Apologies for my generic terminologies) Following are my queries:
1. Upon checking the cost from multiple dentists in Lahore(nearby Wapda town areas), the price difference I saw is huge. Like some of the dentists are charging 18-20k for 1-2 sessions, whereas others are charging 28-30k. I want to know the details of differences if there are any.
2. How effective and longterm the whitening process is? Will it last for 1-2 years? I know that it totally depends upon the diet but keeping in view one eats normal diet, no smoking or coffee, what is the optimal/usual duration for whiteness of teeth?
3. Also, if you could recommend me any dentist for teeth whitening nearby wapda town, then that would be really good.

yes , In offc bleaching is a better option for teeth whitening.
Treatment charges may vary according to bleach material which dentist use in his/her clinic / Dentist skills are important in it bcz treatment from unskilled dentist can burn your gums or lip are too .
Skilled dentist demand/ask more charges too.
2) mostly teeth whitening effectiveness is not more 1 year , but it may last for 1 year only if you use special bleach pastes after teeth whitening treatment.
3) I can recommend a dentist from fsd .

Does whitening require 2 sessions? Some of the dentists are recommending 2 sessions for the same cost whereas some are saying that their process doesn't require a 2nd session.

complete whitening procedure needs 2 to 3 sessions must ,it can be completed on a single time visit /single day

yes, there any many brands in market . but it depends on dentist which kit he/she is using for teeth whitening, your dentist will arrange that kit for you .

Charges may varies bcoz 2 reasons , how expensive is whitening kit and how much charges for drs but usually it is in between 18-25 k. 2.Duration for which it last is usually 6months to 1.5 year 3.apologies for 3rd question I am from Karachi

Actually there are 3-4 cycles of 15-25 mins each so it’s for comfort level of patient to do it in 2 session 1 hour per session ,2ndly kit choice is upto dr ,I advice choose an Aesthetic dentist for whitening for best results

woa 1) cost are variable bcz of the material used for bleaching and the skill of the dentist.
2) As whitening is effective and longivity also depend on material used for bleacing and maintaining proper oral hygiene.

If you want your whitening as early as possible so treat it in 1 session. But in dentist point of view it is better to do whitening in 2 session as it has better results longivity.

Do whitening with reknowed dentist.Dentist knows better which kit they are using and their valuable.
