Asking for Sister, Female, 23 years old, Lahore
Four years ago, I had braces to correct my bite, and during the treatment, I didn't notice any overbite. Once the braces were removed, I realized that my upper front teeth had shifted slightly forward, creating an overbite. Additionally, my teeth appeared larger than before because my dentist pulled them down from the gums excessively, which left me dissatisfied with the final result.
Now, after four years, I'm considering undergoing treatment to fix the overbite issue. I don't want to undergo the painful process once again. Is it possible to correct the bite by only applying brackets and wires to the upper front teeth, or would invisible aligners be a better option? I'm looking for the most efficient and least painful approach.
yes invisible aligners are a good option and can fix your smile. you can chose your smile outcome before starting the treatment. book an appointment to discuss the options if you are in karachi.
consult an orthodontist in area near you.measurements will be needed.and x-ray opg and lateral ceph and photographs.

invisible aligners can be done but cannot comment without an opg and ceph. have to examine clinically
as salam u alaikum i am a consultant orthodontist(braces specialist) you may visit for checkup... braces are gold standard... aligners are for minor cases.... still need to see the case

Yes, my problem is minor so invisible aligners are well suited for me. Unless no IPR or tooth extraction required I'll be ok.

Done is done . See an other orthodontist to decide the best for you . Sometimes the problem never exists but the look to patients is mot acceptable.

Yes , i also think aligners would be better. But is it possible to put brackets on only upper front teeths without having to move back teeths?
