Talk to Dentist on Wisdom Teeth

Asking for Self, Male, 31 years old, Faisalabad

I am having severe pain from last week in my wisdom teeth. This isn't the first time but before it lasted merely 1 2 days. But this time it is not going away. Last year I visited a dentist for this. He advised that if the pain persists he will remove the teeth. But many have advised me against it as this will make the whole dental line loose next to wisdom teeth. What should I do? It looks like half of my gum is still on wisom tooth and swelled.

that's a typical presentation of pericoronitis.
your problem won't go away untill you get the tooth extracted. just dont waste your time and money on other ways out, just get the tooth extracted ASAP.

Removing your wisdom tooth will not effect the other teeth.. Not removing it will give you persistent pain and there a chances of the adjacent molar to be affected by caries.. Its better to get it checked and treated..

1. If there is a cavity it has to be filled. 2. If there is gum On tooth , the gum has to be excised or cut and removed. 3. If the tooth is not properly erupted then it has to be extracted. But needs to take xray and see the condition.. you can go to Advance Dental imaging at Manzhar medical Susan Road opp. McDonald and ask them to do OPG.. take a pic of xray and upload it here .. conditions will be clarified then or visit a dentist for advice..

It seems like u r facing pericoronitis, it would b good if u share your clinical picture of tooth n also x-ray. First of all go to your nearist dentist for just having deep cleaning (curitage) of wisdom tooth by this all impacted food will b clean n also swealing will reduce. Afterwords u need to gargle with luke warm salted water 6-7 times a day for 5 days. Also brush that swealin area properly, u will have pain but its necessory to clean properly. Rinse with mouth wash CLINICA after brushing your teeth. Trust me you will feel relief in just 2days.
