my mother have pain in her both knees from past 6 years she take medicine every day but Relief is temporary for 4 to 6 hours yesterday she walk to much and the black spot appear in the knee can you tell me what kind of spot is this

please book a consultation. it is difficult to assess without physical examination. please ask her to rest, elevate the leg and apply cold compress for 10 minutes. apply voltral emulgel on knee if pain is too much.
It looks like a bruise but nothing can be said for sure until the patient is examined. For now, if its very painful, give her warm compresses, feldene/voltral gel and rest.
