Talk to Dermatologist on Dark Corners Around Mouth
Asking For Self, Female, 39 Years old, Lahore
Dear Doctor, I am concerned about the dark patches around the corner of my mouth. It appears on both side. It started two weeks ago with mild itching and dryness. My lips remain persistently dry even though I use regular Vaseline. The affected area is getting larger. What are the possible causes and treatment for this problem? Please see the pic attached.

Pic is not uploading. U could have angular chelitis thats is the fissures/cracks in the corners of the mouth. Any kind of inflammation on the skin can result in pigmentation. So possibly this darkness could be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
