You need to explain that eczema is a condition she must understand well.her eczema will always flare up when her skin is dry so she has to prevent dryness. So I would advise a detailed meeting to e plain how to manage on a long term basis.

Eczema is "the itch that rashes".
And since its a dry skin condition. Moisturise. Like MOISTURISE.
it will get worse in extremes of weather. Extreme garmi n extreme sardi. Since temp extremes are there similarly extreme hot water and/or extreme cold water would worsen it too. Perfumed soaps n lotions worsen it too. Long baths worsen it too.
Solution:
1. Hydrate your body. Drink 15 glasses of water daily. Trust me it makes a world of a difference.
2. Use fragrance free soaps n lotions. Use OILATUM BAR for bath. Internationally available.
3. Apply body butter/shea butter/E45/sudocream/ olive oil/ baby oil right after bath. Pat dry or towel dry urself and apply generously on body. Use oilatum cream on face n neck. Bath should not be long. And use luke warm water.
4. Wear sunblock. It helps.
5. Use corticosteroids only when need be.
6. Stress less (atleast try to)- that also worsens eczema.
7. Cut your nails. Dont keep em long werna ull be scratching yourself all over.
8. Learn to manage your skin. Know when it gets worse, what reacts, what makes it better.
Lastly, skin conditions like eczema are like having diabetes. If u take care it won't bother u. If u dont it can get worse than your imagination.
So because, youre so special, You better take that extra care of yourself darling. Eczema wont ever bother u. Saying as a patient (myself) and as a doctor. ????#TheSkinDoc
PS: in case of your baby, abhi ziada khayal karain as she grows older this will go away if taken proper care right now. Moisturise. Use emollients. Perfume free soaps. Bath with lukewarm water. And in case of flareups use medicines- oral or topical as advised by the doctor. SHe'll be fine.
