Asking For Self, Male 28, Islamabad, Pakistan

Hi, I've started having my hairline moving back since my mid 20s. And I have no idea why.. I had long hair, so I don't believe in subcontinent myth of 'men with longer hair go bald'. Now, the front side of my head has gone almost bald, plus I had a severe dandruff issue since my childhood. Please help me regarding regrowth of my hair and get rid of dandruff.. Moreover, my hair are naturally straight, so I have never used hairsprays, gels, treatments like rebounding etc just being careful about hair. Always covered hair in summers, considering the killing heat, extreme pollution and screeching sunlight that's a gift to any expat in Pakistan.. But after all this I got my half front head almost without hair.. Please let me know a good dermatologist or hair expert who can treat me, and are present in G13 or G11 Islamabad. Thanks

Never knew such a myth existed.
Your hair is like a plant, my hair stylist would always tell me. The best way to think of the way hair grows is to picture a garden. How well it grows is completely a result of what is happening “underground.”
You need to get to the root cause of why you're having that hair loss. Hair loss/thinning can be because of various reasons:
1. Physical stress (accident, surgery, trauma, severe illness etc)
2. Pregnancy
3. Too much vitamin A
4. Lack of protein
5. Heredity
6. Female hormones
7. Emotional stress
8. Anemia
9. Hypothyroidism
10. Vitamin B deficiency
11. Autoimmune related hair loss (alopecia areata)
12. Dramatic weightloss
13. Chemotherapy
14. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
15. Antidepressants, blood thinners and some other medications.
16. Overstyling
17. Aging
18. Trichotillimania
19. Dandruff
Go see ur derm.. get it sorted why n what pattern hair fall ur having. Follow a regime that they advise. Results are slow and gradual but helps. And/or u can get hair treatments like mesotherapy or PRP done by ur aesthetic dermatologist. Prp has 100% results in women, however results can vary in men.
I dont know about the sector, but Dr. Ikramullah is a very good doctor in Islamabad, you can search his details on google or marham app.

Thanks a lot Asma for your comprehensive advice. You said to see my dermatologist. That's the point, I don't have one.
The reasons you mentioned one is heredity. Also, you mentioned stress and dandruff. So I have both. And I have been having a severe dandruff issue since I was a child. Don't know how and why I have it, but it's there. I also wanna get that treated along with hair fall..
Moreover, @ the doctor you suggested : there could be so many doctors with the same name. So, can you please provide more details on the doc? Thanks.

Ok. You need to see if it is genetic male pattern baldness . If any family member of yours is also having
Baldness than you also have male pattern baldness.
You cannot treat it. But can improve hair density and delay baldness
Use.1. Biolyn shampoo daily.
And 2. Biotin shampoo apply on head at night and wash in morning.
Try for 3 months. If improvement seen use regularly for 4 to 6 months.

Thanks for your kind advice Dr Farrukh. Also, you mentioned Biotin and Biolyn shampoo. These are 2 separate Shampoos, correct?
Also, do I need to use both? And how would I figure out the baldness pattern and I can't figure out myself whether it's hereditary or due to something else.. Also, if I could know that you do some clinics in Isb, so that I can visit you as well? That will be really great.
