Asking for Brother, Male, 29 years old, Karachi
A friend (29 Years/Male) is suffering from this condition for the past 2 years or so where he gets these small painful to touch red bumps/sores on the scalp and the hair becomes thin all of sudden, his personal lifestyle/diet and hygiene is good yet this condition doesn't go away. His hair has become quite thin but they don't break or fall much to be considered as hair-fall plus he also gets itchiness and small white flakes falling from his scalp too, we assume its some sort of psoriasis maybe!
Can some identify what this condition is and its treatment etc?
Thanks
Salam,
Hope you and your friend are doing good. Without doing a proper checkup it is in correct to suggest a diagnosis. But what you telling and showing... it doesnt look Psoriasis.... possibly folliculitis adding to it is androgenic alopecia... i would suggest to do a consultation with a Dermatologist of your choice or can book an appointment with us aswell.
Regards,
Dr Salman
