Asking For Self, Female, 19 Years old, Rawalpindi
how to treat it? I’ve been doing Q-switch laser on face for 4 years and there’s little to no improvement. I believe it is not related to PCOS
For better understanding you need to visit personally as i have to check the density, thickness & colour of hair & your skin type to determine which Laser is best for your skin type. Regards
At 19, chances are that you have elevated levels of hormone Testosterone in your blood. Other reasons include family tendency etc. Have your serum Testosterone levels checked on 14 days "before" the start of next periods. Preferably from AKUH lab.
I am the one who started Laser Hair Removal in Pakistan almost 20years ago by IPL machine. Generally it takes about 1½years for hairs to stop growing.
Unfortunately you live in Rwp whereas I am located in Karachi.

Got my hormone levels checked & all of them are normal, including testosterone. What now? A little history: i started Q switch laser in 2016 and underwent monthly treatment ever since. During lockdown i was unable to get treatment done so the first 2 pics = my natural hair growth (after 4 years of laser). 3rd pic = hair growth after i used a tinkle face razor for the first time & 4th pic = tinkle razor used for 2nd time then i stopped. If all hormones are normal, then could it still be hirsutism? Please help.
