I have uneven skin tone around my lips area which looks bad. The skin around lips is dark (hyperpigmented). Please recommend a serum or cream to apply. I have combination skin type.

It's extremely difficult to treat hypigmentation, it comes back again after stopping the treatment. It is best treated by strictly a avoiding exposure of the skin to direct and indirect sunlight. The actual treatment with good results are with cosmetic treatments like Microneedling or the newest Plasma Fibroblasting.

Nowadays vit c serum are best for hyperpigmentation.....
There are multiple causes of perioral hyperpigmentation that need to be evaluated and addressed. The best first step to cater to two toned skin can be regular use of sunblock and use of vitamin c serum or brightening creams which can be prescribed once I see u for online consultation or in my clinic.
