need to consult to suggest what is best treatment.

If you just have black marks of pimples, they will go away with time provided you don't break new acne.
If you have black depressed scars then you need dermo-cosmetic treatments like PRP, Microneedling, Subcision, Plasma Fibroblasting. I need to examine you before I suggest which treatment is best for you. Regards.

Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition which appears as a patch on the skin surface. These patches are usually red, brown or black in color, as they vary in accordance to the natural skin tone of different skin types

WHAT ARE CAUSES OF POST INFLAMMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION (PIH)?

PIH is caused by neglecting the effects of ACNE disorders. A rash, pimple or stimuli which causes skin inflammation, when not taken care of sees an increase in the supply of Melanin to the affected area. This causes Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or the formation of red, black or brown patches on the surface of the skin.

HOW TO PREVENT POST INFLAMMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION?

Timely care is the solution to prevent skin disorders. Taking care of the effects of ACNE would prevent Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation and the formation of skin patches. It is scientifically proven that over 90% of ACNE related allergies lead to scarring, therefore ACNE therapy and regular skin cleansing would effectively combat skin allergies as a whole.

Preventative measures one can ensure to avoid PIH:

🔵Avoid Excess Sun Exposure in peak hours (10 am - 4 pm)

🔵Always wear sunblock, morning and afternoon, even when inside the house.

🔵The usage of Vitamin C can help calm and fade the darkened spots

🔵Lightening Creams are also proven to be very helpful

🔵 Microdermabrasion & Chemical Peels can help reduce the marks.

🔵 Visit your trusted dermatologist for further advice.
