Talk to Dermatologist on Purple Patches On Both Hands
Asking for Father, Male, 63 years old, Karachi
Hello,
My father has had purple patches on both hands for the past 6 months. The patches grew slowly but have not spread past the currently affected area. He says they sometimes lightly burn and have a pinprick sensation (no itching) for a few days before the symptoms subside, but the patch and discoloration remain.

No, doctor. just vitamin tablets that he started last month. non diabetic, smoker (vape) with history of hypertension but controlled. took blood thinners years ago but stopped.

its completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me it's a permanent treatment not temporary
he should be evaluated for diabetes , serum NA/K and platelets
it's better to take him to general physician n get his all tests done
with detail history n examination Dr will b able to treat
as per picture it seems like self limiting phenomen of joint swelling but as his age is 63 all tests should b done first.
for local application apply clobederm ointment 2 times a day
but it's not skin problem only
book an appointment or visit fatima dental and skin care
Do the patches appear when he takes some specific medicine? Is he on any long term medicines?
Hivate ointment half pea size apply three times a day

non diabetic, just a history of blood pressure, occasionally took blood thinners years before, smoker. Happened out of the blue without any bruising. patch occasionally burns for a few days and then the symptoms subside but patch color remains.
