Talk to Dermatologist on Scalp Infection
Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, Sialkot
I have this scalp infection since almost 2 years. I started treatment but my doctor never told what it was so I did some internet research and self diagnosed it as seborrheic dermatitis. I have read there is no permanent cure for it. It is now spreading on my forehead and ears as well. Please guide what can be done about it. What medications should I use and for how long?

The picture you posted does not show anything at all but if you really have diagnosed correctly, your must be real smart. I must tell you that many doctors incl Dermatologist cannot diagnose seborrheic dermatitis correctly.
Seb Derm is an Infection by a yeast like organism which involves the sebum producing gland and hair follicle and the skin in-between the hair follicle causing flaky dandruff and very often involves eye brows, eye lashes. ears, mustache area, nasal fold and in some central part of upper chest (in men - pateloid).

there is cure for all skin diseases. can u take blood pressure meds for 2 months and leave that its cured? self diagnosis and google search is dangerous. pts dont read from book and real pt desling by doctors teach them right treatment direction. plz book appointment thru marham
