Talk to Dermatologist on Toenail Discolouration

I have yellow thumb nails from top in both feet since last month with a black line between them. What can be the possible reasons? What to do?
It's because either if the two. Since you keep long nails, toe nails may have became traumatized if you wear shoes. Secondly this may be due to some kind of prolonged illness about 6- 8 months ago.
