AoA, My toenail was injured during a hike two months ago, first it turned black then after a month it got completely separated from the nail bed. should I completely remove the separated part or let it be? also should I use a bandage or tape as it fills with pus whenever I do so.
Let the injured nail pulled out either by yourself or by a doctor on his clinic. New nail will eventually grow out.
