I have two options for research in Chemistry One is Lab Work in which Chemical Exposure. & other is computational in which 0% chemical exposure.

According to your Knowledge & Experience which is best for me as I think chemical exposure may be a trigger of Vitiligo.

The exact cause of vitiligo is unknown but few factors contribute to it such as genetics, environmental, autoimmune disease etc. other are stress, certain chemicals exposure, physical skin damage/trauma or sunburn etc. studies suggests that chemical exposure especially phenols ( adhesives, disinfectants, paints, insecticides), monobenzone (rubber, leather, and cosmetic dyes), catechol derivatives etc. could trigger vitiligo. If u think u could be exposed to these chemicals during your research then u should definitely avoid such exposure.
