Constipation Problem

Question

My mother is diebtic patient and facing constipation problem. She also intakes diebtic and BP medicines regularly due to this she become victim of constipation. Plz suggest some medication.

in diabetic patient constipation is usually due to neuropathy
when nerves become affected in stomach and gut it make them slow
usually non fatty meal leave the stomach in 30 to 40 mints but in diabetic it remains for sometime 2 hrs so pt fell fulness in abdomen for that period
after that slow intestine move the feces slowly which gives more time for the gut to absorbe water and make a dry constipated stool
so wise approach is use the medicin who improve gut motility with medications for constipation
use tab esso 20 mg aik rozana subh nashte se pehel
tab itofix 50 mg aik subh duphr sham khane se pehle
syp duphalac or lilac 2-3 tsp teen time
if still constipation not relived
use tab bisacodyl 2 at night with plenty of water at night for once
there are some other measure to train your brain for getting rid of constipation
fix a time in morning after bed when she woke up in morning she should drink 1 to 2 glass of warm water wait for 30 mint and then sit on a pot for 10 mint of if constipation is not relived continue sitting without straining it will fix a time for a circadian rhythm to deficate atleast once in morning
2nd she must had a light walk after each food for atleast 15 mint it will boat her digestion
also it is worth mentioning here that some clinicians avoid duphlac in diabetes as it is sweet but to my experience duphalac does not alter glycemic control as it contains nondigestable sugar
