I'm diabetic since I was 6 years old. It was always high but in the last two years it was in normal range but now I'm having fluctuations in sugar. It's always in high range 300-350 or sometimes 400. I'm taking novorapid and insultard. What should I do? My hba1c was 8 two months back.

Well, as far as my opinion is concerned. Type-1 diabetics should be a keen observer and sharp players of insulin. Nobody knows your body habits but you yourself. Please repeat your HbA1c and Fasting sugar and 2 hours post prandial sugar. if HbA1c is 8 or less and Fasting is Higher then titrate your basal insulin. better to go for some good one like Lantus and Levemir. 0.2 units per Kg body weight 15 minutes before going to bed in night.
now Bolus insulin. Novorapid is good insulin but again titration needed. I don't know how many units you are injecting per day in divided doses but I'll guide you to the best of my knowledge. 0.6 units per KG body weight per day in three equal divided doses 10-15 minutes before each meal. then daily check one RBS after 3-4 hours of lunch. if it is higher than 200 keep adding 2-4 units in each of the three doses until you achieve your required goal.
also add some nuts in your diet so shall your insulin resistance shall me minimised as nuts like peanuts are very good sensitizers of insulin letting your insulin work more.
also take some B-complex tabs on daily basis to avoid developing diabetic polyneuropathy.
keep regular habit of exercise like brisk walk for around 25 minutes per day or 150 minutes per 6 days with 1 day rest.
Plenty of water and fibers should be included in your daily intake to rinse all your nasty waste products and toxins from your body.
I wish you can manage your body easily now but if any query let your consultant know.
Lots of prayers for your early body balancing.
regards
