Right Foot Thumb Numbness

Question

Asalamo Alaykum, I am a diabetic patient since last 7 years and taking Treviamet XR 50/500 daily with monthly 1 Tab of Sunny D. I feel numbness in my right foot thumb. Please suggest me how it could be cure and what are the reason behind this issue.
