Talk to Endocrinologist on Thyroid Issue. Elevated TSH

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 30 years old, Lahore

I am having some issues related to thyroid. Few months back TSH was at 7.5. Then, after a month it went to 10.4 and now it is above 12.1.

This makes me a hypothyroid but I have one symptom that is for hyperthyroidism, increased heart rate. I am also feeling very weak and lethargic. A general sense of being unwell. Should I get on medication? The current doctor I am consulting is asking me to get another test after every 21 days from past 3 months in a hope that it might get better but it's getting worse. Any opinion by some learned and experienced GPs and Endocrinologists??

It will be better to visit Endocrinologist and then get treatment instead of just asking for opinion on reports. Regards
