Talk to Ent Specialist on Ear Crackling

I have been able to control popping and crackling sound of my eversince I was a kid. I was born with a cleft palate but was operated at a young age and I have never ever gotten ear infection, nor did I ever have ear pain during a cold or sinus infection. Is it normal? I had my hearing tests done and it was all normal but I'm not sure if this crackling sound that I can control is normal or not It doesn't affect my quality of life nor does it ever caused any sort of pain or any other symptoms
