In that case, before seeing a good ENT specialist, get a CT Scan (plain) Paranasal sinuses.
If the CT scan shows polyps or severe sinus involvement, that is the cause of your anosmia and altered smell and taste.
Sinus polyps can be treated with medicines ans do not always need surgery.
