AOA, I have tinnitus in my right ear from last few years. Also, my left ear has Sensorineural hearing loss. Now plz guide as how to get rid of from Tinnitus. And also tell me that can tinnitus cause hearing loss?

Tinnitus in your right ear might be an alarm asking for more attention towards your better ear. This might be starting of a new hearing loss process. But at present your PTA shows normal hearing in better ear so what you need to do is to get your PTA repeated after every three months. If any other problem arises in your right ear, should be immediately addressed. No medicine at this time seems to be working for you. A trial of betahistine can be taken in your case but with the advice of an ENT after examining your ear. Meanwhile tinnitus masker device can be another option for you. If not available, place a ticking clock at your bedside table at night with your attention diverted to its sound while sleeping as tinnitus is more troublesome at night and hinders sleep induction.
