aoa sir i want to know about nasal surgery how it's complicated.doctors prescribed me surgery due to curve bone in nose.bt I use combivoir or inhaler if i take step of surgery then how many days bandage used in nose becoz it's difficult for me due to asthma .is it safe for me or not.
post op nasal pack is left for 24 hours in nose ..so no issue if you have asthma problem..you can use inhaler and mouth breathing for 1 day . After the removal of pack you will be fine ..and this procedure is safe in asthma patient as well ..
Now a days splint are placed inside nasal cavity with continued breathing , so u just tell ur surgeon about asthma, nasal pack if used needs 24 hours to be kept in cavity

nasal packing is not necessary in all cases .
even if required by surgeon,
nowadays breathing can be possible with nasal packing/dressing and modified splints called splints with airway.
it's better to discuss all options and concerns with the concerned surgeon undertaking the surgery in your case.
