Asalaam alaikum, I had a septoplasty 8months ago and now I’m suffering from a blocked nose and stuffy nose with mucas. I’m blowing my nose more than 10 times a day. I’ve been told that this problem is a non alert if rhinitis. But the ent specialist has not looked at my nose again. I have lost my smell and lost my taste of food. What can I do?
Your symptoms are due to nasal blockage. After any nasal surgery, nasal douching(cleaning) is very important. plz get urself checked up again from ENT consultant
Probably it’s allergic rhinitis u have, attend any other ENT specialist for proper examination and medication
Please get your nose examined first to rule out post op adhesions or septal perforation.
