Dear patient this is common problem. Mostly it is due to allergy. More over in Xynosine dependent patients , Xynosine also cause the blockage. Therefore there are few things you should do carefully. 1. Quit Xynosine drops or discontinue it gradually over a month or two. 2. Saline water irrigation of nose= take one litter of tap water on normal temperature and mix two tea spoon of Salt . Take 60 CC feeding syringe. Fill the syring with saline water, bend ur head over washing basin, put syring inside one nostril and push water gently. Some water will come back from nose and some from mouth. Then wash other nostril. One or two saline water syringes for each nostril. Do irrigation in morning and at night. This is most fruitful method if u can make habit for it 3. Avamys nasal spray ( 2?puff each nostril miring and evening at least for three months) 4. Tab telfast 120 mg ( one at night for 3 months) . Moreover, this problem has no curative treatment. You will use medication, will get better , will remain better for some days and then again u can have same problem. But fortunately, this allergic problem goes away with age . Best wishes and take care

Both these symptoms can be due to either DNS or long standing allergic rhinitis leading to sinusitis. Overuse of xynosine spray can also cause this. You must visit an ENT consultant for better guidance
