what u r complaining, is called Foreign Body sensation.
this could be traumatic means u have taken something hard and that passed by but your throat is aching and traumatized, this can be infective, enlarged tongue tonsils, or can be Cancerous.
better is to consult online and give a detailed history, so that thorough history to be taken and further plans of management can be discussed
