Cataract

Question

My cataract surgery was done at a government Hospital Lahore.  My PC rent 
was ruptured during surgery. I got checked by several doctors in Lahore and was advised eye drops but no improvement happened. Is there any treatment to improve my eye sight? Kindly let me know so I could visit you.

There are several causes of poor vision after surgery with complications during surgery. As others have said it require proper evaluation. Things that need to be looked into include the clarity of the transparent media of the eye, position of the implanted lens, status of the light sensitive part of the eye (i.e. the retina) and any concurrent inflammation. The bright side of the picture is that most of these issues that can be dealt with.

asalam o alaikum,
there are multiple causes of decreased vision after eventfull cataract
surgery as in your case. in order to get an opinion what is happening and
what can be done you have to visit either of us. whoever you visit you
can insist on telling you the diagnosis and probable chances of recovery.
