Asking for Mother, Female, 40 years old, Karachi
My mother is diabetic for almost 15 years and she was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy a year ago she was given injections in her eyes and she recoverd her vision too bt soon after a month she lost hee vision again now she can see shadows only need advice and an specailist to deal this problem cause its now a year old disease for the patient
Seems to be complication of diabetic retinopathy... Needs urgent management ... Time is important .. I am vitreoretinal surgeon.. U can consult between 6-8 pm ..
If having diabetic retinopathy then it’s a long tedious process of treatment. Can’t be stopped with one injection. She needs regular monthly follow up to asses her condition and treatment plan accordingly. If in Lahore you can take appointments nonentity and I can asses and advice
The report basically states that the nerve that connects the eye to the
brain has been affected by diabetes (neuropathy). It is very difficult to
say exactly what is responsible for visual loss as diabetes has multiple
affects on the retina some manageable, some not.
She needs to be examined.can come to Alain institute at 241/3/A Shahrah e Quaideen.042-32591427,
