occasionally eye getting red (some time left eye and sometime right eye) and feel burning in left eye mostly?

If there is no stickiness in eyes then most likely it's allergic conjunctivitis try dexoflox eye drops twice daily for 2 wks but never more than 2 wks or you can get very serious side effects and if problem persists after 2 wks get yourself checked by an eye specialist near you to rule out any other serious cause of red eyes

You might be suffering from dry eye. You should use lubricant eye drops atleast thrice daily for 3 weeks
