Talk to Eye Specialist on Eye Infection

If both eyes involve better get opinion of eye specialist. It may be a routine infection that gets better in one week

If there is no pain then then most likely it's subconjunctival Haemorrhage which will resolve itself in 4 wks but it's always better to get opinion of any eye spec near you

Hi,
If the vision is alright it is likely to be conjunctivitis. It could be due
to a variety of causes. If both eyes started at the same time and the
predominant symptoms in an itch and a stringy discharge its likely to be
allergic. You can use over the counter topical drops to see if the
condition settles; however i would highly recommend seeing a doctor esp if
symptoms do not improve in a day. If you woke up with sticky eyes, or if
one eye started a day before the other and both later became sticky. It is
likely to be bacterial infection. Further if one eye preceded the other by
more than a day and together with being red they are excessively watery
than its possibly viral. Both will require a visit to a doctor for
management and correct diagnosis
