my mother have retina problem.we putt lenses both eye butt the eye sight is Soo week Dr says that due to diabetes the retina has been demaged.

From your history it seems your mother has problems in retina due to diabetes , it is important to know how much retina is affected then can decide about treatment plan that can be injections , laser application on retina . But for that she needs to see an ophthalmologist and get her fundoscopy so that treatment plan can be decided accordingly
Did she went through Argon Laser or any intravitreal injection for diabetic retinopathy? How long she has diabetes ?

After cataract surgery most of the patients develop posterior capsular thickening for that we have to do YAG laser to break that thickening that is also a cause of decrease vision .

Examination is necessary to see the lavel of damage to the retina.. And which antivegef has been used.. If macula is off due to diabetc retinopathy.. Vision restoration is not possible.. Please consult ur nearest ophthalmologist thanks

There are better antivegef available then avastin.. Which are expensive but effective.. But examination is nust to go for it

If macula is involved than visual prognosis will not be better but it will be confirmed after diagnostic like OCT macula
