Asking for Self, Female, 60 years old, Peshawar
Hello Doctor! I want to ask that my mother's eyes' sight is not clear from about last two years. According to doctor's advice, she has black water inside her eyes and need operation. I did her eyes operation and they put eyes a lens in one of her eyes since 1 year ago but did not get black water from her eyes and still she cannot see things clearly. ..kindly suggest me something ...will appreciate your Thanks.
As per history this is most likely a case of Glaucoma and was operated for cataract too. If the IOP or intraocular pressure in both eyes with medicine is less than 16 mm Hg considering age of patient nothing more can be done but still every patient need investigations and you should get second opinion from any eye spec near you.
There is nothing such as black water in eyes. Lens is placed for cataract. Glaucoma is sometimes called black cataract in layman's language but vision loss due to that is irreversible. Presentation of documents will elaborate the situation better
First of all tell her Visual status. It should be written on her prescription. Secondly if you have done her OCT and Visual fields test(Perimetery).Glaucoma is usually called blue water. And what about fellow eye? Is there any cataract too? In then end get her vision checked if all parameters are okay.
Dear she needs complete ocular examination
It looks she needs her glaucoma investigated.you must see an eye doctor. Alain eye institute provides all services.tel 042-32591427, t61&62
